On your doorstep & beyond
Having been born on the Amalfi Coast and having lived there for more than 30 years, I can assure you that this apartment will deliver to you a truly authentic village experience in what is probably the most central and well connected town in the Amalfi area.
Vietri is famous for its hand made ceramics shops and there are so many different shops and styles to enjoy, all easily visible from a brief walk around the village.
There are also high quality restaurants, pizzerias, coffee shops and bars all within a 5 minute walk of the apartment. The local beach at Vietri Marina is also on a short walk away. So if you want to go no further, there is a relaxing holiday on your doorstep.
But there are also literally hundreds of places in close proximity covering historic locations such as Pompeii and Paestum, to the glamour of Ravello, Capri and Positano, to some of the best (and largely undiscovered) shopping areas of Salerno and Cava dei Terreni. Let me know if you want any tips !
Each of these attractions is accessible by catching a bus, train or ferry either from Vietri itself or from a major hub in close proximity. For example, the port city of Salerno is only a 10 minute bus ride away from Vietri, and from there you can catch a ferry to the mainland attractions of say Amalfi or Positano or the islands of Capri or Ischia.
In the apartment there is a guide of the town, with the local attractions and how to get to the bus stop connecting you through to the rest of the Amalfi Coast.
